Intensive Hair Root Therapy

Through Intensive Hair Root Therapy, vital nutrients are directly delivered to the root of the hair. These vital nutrients are FDA approved and comprise natural plant extracts and vitamins that stimulate hair growth. The nutrients are delivered to the hair roots through micro injections that are relatively painless.

Results vary from person to person depending on various factors such as the type of hair, the kind of hair loss and the reason for hair loss to name a few. Generally, clients report seeing effective results within 2-3 months of starting the treatment.

Since the cause of hairfall differs from person to person there cannot be a blanket rule to maintain the results for the maximum period of time. However, the Kaya dermatologist will draw up a customized plan to ensure you get the best and long lasting results from the treatment for your specific reason for hair loss.

  • Which Medications will I Require? The kind of medications you require will depend on your individual needs such as what kind of hair loss you have & what is the cause of hair loss. Once you undergo the detailed Hairscription with the Kaya dermatologist, the medications you personally require will become clearer.
  • How many treatments will I need? Again, the way your treatment will be structured will be customized by our dermatologist to suit your needs. Typically one requires 8 - 15 sessions on an average.
  • Are there any side effects?Intensive HairRoot Therapy is absolutely safe and has no systemic side effects. Occasionally you may experience a temporary mild headache post the procedure or temporary swelling that can be easily treated with localized cold compresses.
  • What must I do after the procedure? You can carry on with your regular daily activities as usual. Wash your hair with an antiseptic like Savlon both the days before & after the procedure. Our dermatologist will recommend what products need to be applied, such as the hair health gel hat has to be applied on alternate nights on the scalp.
  • Is the treatment painful? Intensive Hair Root Therapy is relatively painless. You may slightly feel the microinjections, similar to a pinprick.
